Here are a few other important elements of Bick's Driver Education:

• The conduct of the course is regulated by the Ohio State Patrol. As such, the driving school is not allowed to give more than four (4) hours of instruction (of any kind) to any student in a twenty-four (24) hour period.
• A student may start the training when they are fifteen years and five months. They do not need a temporary permit to take the classroom work.

• Once the student has completed the classroom sessions (assuming they have obtained their temporary permit), they may schedule their driving.
• The eight (8) hours of driving is generally scheduled as four, two-hour sessions. However, a student may drive four hours in one day*. The driving is scheduled at the student's convenience.
• The student comes to our office-classroom for the classroom sessions, but Bick's will pick them up at home, school, etc. for the driving sessions, if they live in the greater Middletown area. If they do not live in our service area, they must come to the office or to a mutually agreed upon place for the driving sessions.
• The classroom sessions do not have to be taken "in a row". The student may take them at anytime that is convenient for them. This means that they may start anytime the classroom session is being offered not just on a certain day such as Monday. No appointment is necessary for the regularly scheduled classes.
